CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- On Super Bowl Sunday — no matter what team you’re rooting for — all eyes will be on the commercials.

The Super Bowl is the most-watched television program of the year, and the 47th annual game will be no different.

This year, two Crash the Super Bowl fan finalists will see their homemade ads air during the big game — one selected by America’s votes and one by the Doritos brand team.

The finalist whose ad scores highest on the USA TODAY Ad Meter rankings will be awarded the career-changing opportunity to work with acclaimed film director Michael Bay on the next installment of the blockbuster “Transformers” movie franchise, along with a shot at a $1 million bonus!

One of those is  Mark Freiburger, who moved from Charlotte to Los Angeles to pursue a  career in the motion picture business.

That was seven years ago, and it hasn’t been an easy ride — Freiburger has been freelance producing and taking various odd jobs to make ends meet.

He was our special guest on Larrys Look this morning and talked about the commercial he created for the contest.

His goal has always been to make family films, and that was the inspiration behind “Fashionista Daddy.”  If Mark wins the $1 million bonus prize, his team will donate $100,000 to charity.
