CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Junior Achievement has a great program for area schools.

It's called JA BizTown and is designed for fourth and fifth grade students from Charlotte and surrounding counties.

This program allows those students to "run" an entire economy for the day, exploring the free enterprise system and develop their personal economic literacy.

This morning on NBC Charlotte Today, Larry featured his recent visit to JA BizTown on Larry's Look.

He spent some time with fourth graders who were enjoying their hands-on experience in the business world.

These students totally enjoyed their day at JA BizTown, where they applied their classroom knowledge to a real world situation.

This program helps kids to imagine, investigate, and become citizens of their own town for a day!
