MOORESVILLE, N.C. -- Carrigan Farms is only a short drive from downtown Mooresville and has been part of this Iredell County community since the early 1900s.
It’s family owned and operated, with over 130 acres of land. Doug Carrigan is part of the fifth generation to operate the farm. Doug and his wife Kelly manage the day to day operations with the help of their children.
Quality fruits and vegetables are grown throughout the year with primary focus on crops such as asparagus, strawberries, apples and pumpkins.
Additionally, the Carrigans host thousands of kids of all ages for hayrides to the pumpkin patch, and educational field trips.
Today on Larry’s Look, we got a tour of the farm…hayride included! A big group of elementary school kids, plus Larry, picked apples and pumpkins and fed all the animals in their petting zoo. We also checked-out “Scarrigan Farms”.
It’s a very spooky 3-D haunted house and haunted trail….to get your heart pumping and adrenaline rushing!
