CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- If you’re looking for a fun place to visit, try the NASCAR Hall of Fame in uptown Charlotte.
It’s a 150,000 square foot interactive attraction that honors the history and heritage of NASCAR. It’s totally high-tech and really educates and entertains race fans and non-fans alike.
Inside, there are lots of interactive exhibits, artifacts, and a state-of-the-art theater.
Outside the building is WBT’s Holiday on Ice -- 7,000 square feet of ice of good time for all ages. You can rent skates there and stay a few hours or longer.
There’s also hot chocolate and snacks from the concession booth.
This morning on NBC Charlotte Today, Larry stopped-by and checked out the skating and got a tour of the NASCAR Hall of Fame.
That included some hands-on “pit-crew” action and jumping inside a racing simulator.
