CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Children’s Theatre of Charlotte has a fun new production for kids---of all ages!  It’s “Petite Rouge: A Cajun Red Riding Hood” and runs through March 9th at the McColl Family Theatre at Imaginon in uptown Charlotte.

Take a toe-tapping trip to the bayou in this family-friendly, Zydeco-driven musical soaked in  hot sauce!  A red-hooded duckling named Petite Rouge and her sidekick cat lead the Big Bad Gator, named Claude, on a wild "duck" chase through New Orleans and Mardi Gras.

This morning on Larry’s Look, we got a behind-the-scenes look at the production---including a one on one interview with the gator!  Petite Rouge talked about being a “duck” and how she and her cat would deliver some Cajun food to her Grandmere.  Along the way they encounter the crazy gator, who’s always ready for a good meal.

During one of the musical numbers, Larry even got the chance to grab a Bayou “git stick” to chase Claude across the stage and out the door!
