CHARLOTTE, N.C. – On Friday’s edition of Larry’s Olympics, athletes from the Adaptive Sports and Adventures Program challenged Larry to a hand cycling race at Freedom Park.
The program is part of Carolinas Rehabilitation, the rehab hospital that’s part of Carolinas Healthcare.
ASAP’s mission is to provide competitive and recreational adaptive sports opportunities for people with physical disabilities.
Included are sports like water skiing, tennis, and rugby in addition to hand cycling.
