There's a locally owned business that's all about ice cream and it's very mobile!
"Sticks and Cones Ice Cream Trucks" travel across the Charlotte area to trade shows, conventions, parades, picnics, birthday parties, fundraising event-- anywhere people gather. Their philosophy is that "ice cream makes everything fun.”
MSN's DELISH.com recently ranked "Sticks and Cones" as one of the Top 15 food/dessert trucks in the nation. It's all because of the great menu selection that includes cones and the most delicious sundaes around. One of their most popular is called Carolina Gold, with soft serve ice cream with ribbons of chocolate, caramel sauce and white chocolate sauce, topped with crushed vanilla wafers.
This morning on Larry's Look, the whole "Sticks and Cones" crew was here at the station to give us a "taste" of what they offer! The NBC Charlotte Today team picked "Aladdin's Delight" as their favorite. That is made with soft serve ice cream and has swirls of pomegranate molasses syrup, topped with crushed pistachios.
