CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Two Charlotte agencies gave back on Friday. Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Activities League and Hoodies House of Hope teamed up to feed the hungry.
It was their first-ever event, and as photojournalist Mike Hanson found out, it was quite a success.
They group will serve meals Friday night until 7 p.m. at the Greenville Neighborhood Center on Spring Street.
Both agencies say they hope to be doing this for years to come.
