CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A man is in the hospital after being stabbed in north Charlotte on Christmas night.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police say the stabbing happened on Lasalle Street near Beatties Ford Road Tuesday evening by a woman who attacked the unidentified man.
It's not clear whether the two knew each other.
The man is being treated for serious injuries, but is expected to be OK, police say.
