Dick's Sporting Goods is suspending the sale of certain kinds of semi-automatic rifles from its chains nationwide, CNN reported today.
The move was made out of respect for the victims of last week's Connecticut school shooting "during this time of national mourning," the Dick's Sports Goods said in a statement this morning.
Twenty kids and six adults died at the hands of a gunman carrying an assault rifle and handguns during a school shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School last Friday.
It's unclear how long the store will keep the change in place, according to the report from CNN.
