First Warn Storm Team Chief Meteorologist Brad Panovich says he received lots of reports of a large bolide meteor shooting across the Carolina sky on Saturday night.
People from Georgia, Tennessee, Virginia and both Carolina reported seeing the fireball.
Some said the meteor appeared to split into several pieces.
First Warn Storm Spotter Stuart McDaniel caught it all on his sky camera from Lawndale, in the northern part of Cleveland County. Press play on the video player above to watch his video.
