CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are investigating an attack at a home in north Charlotte that involved a smoke bomb early Friday morning.
Someone threw two bricks through the front window of a home on Alpine Lane, according to police. One of the bricks had a smoke bomb tied to it.
Two people were inside when smoke started filling the home. No one was hurt. The residents were able to return to their home.
Officers say they don't think the attack was random and the victims likely know the suspect.
So far no one has been arrested.
