CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- An Anson County teacher suspended for slapping a student is fighting to get back into the classroom.
Pat Frost admits she slapped a student at Anson High School last June.
She says he pushed her when she asked him to pull up his sagging pants.
Frost's attorney tells NBC Charlotte that she plans to appeal the school board's decision to give her a 60-day paid suspension. The paid suspension is in addition to an unpaid suspension she's already served.
NBC Charlotte will keep following this story, and keep you in the know as new developments take shape.
