North Fayette, PA -- Parents know how hard it is to wake up their teenage daughter or son in the morning. Nicole Delien, 17, is a real life sleeping beauty. A medical condition called Levin Syndrome has caused her to once sleep for 64 days straight, waking up for only a few hours a day to eat.
Nicole even slept through an opportunity to meet singer, Katy Perry, that her parents won for her. When Perry heard about the medical condition, she invited Nicole to another concert.
Klein-Levin Syndrome primarly affects adolescents. Medicine helps spread out the sleeping episodes and doctors say patients can out grow it.
