A portrait that's hung inside an Ohio school for 47 years is under fire.
Behind the main doors of the school hangs a large portrait of Jesus.
Now the Freedom From Religion Foundation says it needs to come down, that it endorses Christianity over other faiths.
But former students and townspeople say that's just ridiculous.
"For anyone to insinuate that this picture would cause someone to be excluded is really a reach," the school’s superintendent said, “…It's not something we're trying to force on any of our students."
The superintendent says the portrait was a gift from students, and will stay put.
Freedom From Religion is threatening to settle things in court.
