WILLS POINT, TX -- Police in Wills Point, Texas, said a train hit a fuel tanker early Thursday morning.
The tanker got stuck on the tracks as a Union Pacific train approached.
The driver of the truck was able to escape before impact and the tanker burst into flames.
The train's conductor and engineer also managed to escape without injury.
Firefighters were letting the fuel burn itself off.
50 homes were evacuated, mainly as a precaution.
