Updated today at 11:20 PM
Through Sunrise:
Mostly cloudy skies with lingering light showers, an isolated thunderstorm and areas of drizzle. Temperatures will be mild and in the 60s. Fog will easily develop in those areas that saw rainfall Sunday. The chance for rain is 30%.
Monday:
With a little more sunshine, temperatures should be a bit warmer. Everybody should climb back into the low 80s. Showers and thunderstorms will pop up in the heat of the afternoon and evening. Watch out for heavy rainfall, frequent lightning and gusty winds. We may see one or two storms become severe with a threat for hail. The chance of rain is 40%.
Monday Night:
Shower and storms will die out with the setting of the sun. Skies will be mostly cloudy. A little patch fog might develop in those areas that see new rainfall. Temperatures will fall back into the muggy mid-60s.
Extended:
Tuesday and Wednesday we will see a 30% chance of afternoon and evening storms, with partly sunny skies and high temperatures back in the mid- to upper 80s.
We'll see an uptick in shower and thunderstorm activity again on Thursday as a front comes into the area.
