CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Grab your Fourth of July umbrella, says Larry. Even holidays can’t escape this rainy summer weather.
Scattered showers are expected in the afternoon. Heavy, more widespread rain should develop by mid-afternoon. Some areas can expect thunderstorms.
The silver lining: there should be a break from the wet stuff around fireworks time.
We’re looking at a similar forecast Friday, with highs in the 80s in Charlotte both days.
The rain chance lessens for the weekend, and by next week, the temperatures should soar back to the 90s. The sun should also make a comeback.
