RALEIGH, N.C. -- Saturday as a part of Matthew mother nature brought heavy rains and powerful winds Raleigh and Fayetteville.

"As a result of that we've already had loss of life and we don't want any more loss of life in North Carolina due to this very serious storm," said North Carolina Governor Pat McCrory.

It was a combination of relentless rain and whiplashing winds that wreaked havoc across North Carolina.

It was raging waters in Raleigh that left entire neighborhoods underwater and front yards completely flooded.
