Severe thunderstorm warning issued in parts of Carolinas

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued in some parts of the Carolinas.

Anson and Richmond Counties were both issued severe thunderstorm warnings until Saturday 6:30 p.m.

Even though Mecklenburg County saw rain all morning, the skies in uptown Charlotte cleared just in time for the 21st annual St. Patrick's Day Parade Saturday afternoon.
