CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- As bitter cold temperatures linger in the Charlotte area, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools will once again run on a two-hour delay, on Wednesday, Jan. 8.
School officials say extreme weather conditions affect both school buses and buildings.
The delay means:
• Before- and after-school enrichment programs (ASEP) will begin at the normal time
• Buses will run routes two hours later than the normal time
• All after-school and athletic activities will operate on the normal schedule
• Schools will dismiss at the normal time
Several other schools are also operating on a different schedule again Wednesday. Click here for the list.
