COLLETTSVILLE, N.C. -- Another mudslide has forced the closure of a roadway in Caldwell County.

Authorities say Adako Road is closed following a mudslide that occurred about a tenth of a mile from the intersection with Highway 90 in Collettsville.

Crews are actively working to clear debris from the roadway, and North Carolina Forestry Services are continuing to clear fallen trees to gain access to isolated homes.

No injuries have been reported.

On Saturday, Caldwell County declared a State of Emergency as crews spent the day clearing downed trees and mudslides from county roads.
