RadarNet is a partnership between WCNC-TV and Carolinas Healthcare System. Together, we are providing Live Doppler Plus Radar to 22 emergency management offices throughout our area. Every county in our area can now track storms moving through their area in real time. National Weather Service watches, warnings, forecasts and current conditions are also available as soon as they are issued. Prior to RadarNet, emergency management offices were forced to rely on radar data that was as much as 30 minutes old. Now officials where you live can make life saving decisions based upon live radar information.
