Michael Scott Mater Foundation (MSMF) located in Charlotte is currently in the running for the 250K category in the Pepsi Refresh Project for this month. A win would grant us $250,000 to support our Youth Empowerment Assistance Program (YEAP) – which is a four week vocational training program that will teach Charlotte’s inner city youth about leadership, marketing, business development, IT/PC configuration, networking skill, customer service, and communications skills. Students will be mentored by professionals from the local community and upon completion of the program, graduates will be placed in paid internships and local employment where they will practice and enhance the skills they have acquired.
Pepsi Refresh Project grants are awarded to those organizations that receive the highest number of votes from the public. With over 1,200 total contestants and only two winners awarded in each category, the competition is fierce!
Voting is simple and we need your vote – daily – to help us win the Pepsi Refresh Project.
