I started the white cactus 7 years ago from 3 stems that I rooted in water and then placed in a hanging flower pot. I leave it outside all summer and move it inside before cold weather. It always blooms by the end of November. The blooms are white with a splash of pink down the center of each flower. I was told it had been around for years and that you cannot buy this variety anymore. The hot pink Christmas Cactus was bought locally last year and I hope it will grow as well as the white cactus in the future. I don't have a green thumb but I've had good luck with these two plants.
