On Saturday, April 9th 2011 a massive hail storms struck Charlotte, North Carolina. Hail an inch in diameter pummeled residents houses, eventually knocking out power to much of the city. The storm lasted from 6 PM to 10 PM and caused decent damage to cars, windows, and roofs. The sky, post-storm, however showed a completely different side. Beautiful, striking colours, eventually fading into apocalyptic blacks, deep reds and oranges. Awesome and terrifying.
