A light rain was falling. Soon the wind picked up speed and I looked out the window to see our Maple Tree bent right over with the top touching the ground. The rain started to pour down in buckets. All I could see out my kitchen windows were sheets of water. A great blast of wind shook our old farmhouse and I heard a crash to the Southeast. What I saw broke my heart ... our old Pecan tree had split and crashed to the ground, taking with it, the roof of our garage. We were blessed, however, both cars in the garage were untouched.
