High winds and white out conditions in Ashe County, West Jefferson, NC as of 3:30 pm today. This is the view from my back yard. There are sirens heard, but I am not sure what that is about, but it is most likely another car accident. There have been several accidents as the blowing snow covers wet spots in the salted roadway and refreezes.
