I'm a native Floridian & this is my first fall

Now I'm the tourist but feel welcome

I grew up in a state filled with tourist, moved to NC at the begining of last winter and have enjoyed the whole experience. I am simply amazed about how welcoming and friendly everyone is, not to say people in FL aren't but they're no where close to this level. Not many folks can say at the age of 34 that they've never seen snow, a leaf that has changed color or a rolling landscape. The saddest thing is the only hill I had ever seen before was at the city pump. I'm very happy to say I've seen all those things now although I still need to make a trip up to the mountains. I really want to see a mountain. This is my little tale about me and my pictures and why they're special to me.
