We decided to take the kids on a spontaneous fishing trip Friday, June 25th on Lake Norman. Nothing was biting for the longest time and then all of a sudden, the catfish started biting! The kids were catching fish faster than their dad could bait the hook. Fishing location was at a private residence off of State Park Road, Troutman, NC. It couldn't have been more than 2 1/2 feet of water that these fish were caught! It was amazing how much fun a $3 bucket of worms could bring this family.
