Black History Month events

Four ways to celebrate black history and explore Charlotte’s culture.
    1. Join the Town of Huntersville for their free Black History Month celebration on February 17th from 10 am to noon at the Robert B. Blythe Building.
    2. On Sunday, February 23rd, tour the new exhibit at the Levine Museum of the New South called, “Brooklyn: Once a city within a city” for free.
    3. The African American Heritage Festival at the Charlotte Museum of History is free! Join them on February 29th from 11 am to 5 pm.
    4. Explore African American culture and art at the Harvey B. Gantt Center in Uptown.
