Breakfast in Bread


  1. 2 Eggs scrambled
  2. 1 oz butter
  3. 1 tb Peppers diced
  4. 1 tb Onions diced
  5. 1 oz Sausage browned and chopped
  6. 1 oz Ham diced
  7. Sourdough roll
  8. 4 oz hot Cheddar sauce (recipe to follow)


  • Cut the top off of the roll, hollow out the inside and toast in the oven
  • Melt the butter and saute the onions and peppers
  • Add the ham and sausage, cook until warm
  • Add the eggs and cook until soft scrambled
  • Stuff the toasted roll with the egg mixture
  • Pour the cheddar sauce over the top
  • serve

Cheddar Sauce


  1. 1.5 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  2. 1/2 cup Monterey jack cheese, shredded
  3. 2 cups heavy cream
  4. 8 ounces easy melt cheese, cubed
  5. 1/4 teaspoon salt
  6. 1/8 teaspoon fresh ground pepper


  • in a saucepan, heat the cream and ez-melt
  • In a large bowl, combine the shredded cheeses.
  • To the saucepan, add shredded cheeses and season with salt and pepper. Cook until melted
