CHARLOTTE, N.C. — July is plastic free month. A local company is working to reduce plastic in the laundry room. Sheets Laundry Club CEO Chris Videau says worldwide, a garbage truck full of plastic is entering our oceans each minute. Only 9% of plastic is recycled.
Sheets Laundry Club has eliminated the whole recycling process of plastic. They took plastic out of the picture. They have laundry sheets that start out as a liquid form. They dehydrate it, and take the liquid out of it and make it into a sheet about the size of a postcard. They're also adding floor cleaning sheets to their line of products.
