List: Restaurants providing free meals in the Austin area

Here is a list of locations that are open Saturday in the Austin area and providing free meals.

AUSTIN, Texas — Many stores and restaurants are reopening as the temperatures rise and the snow and ice begin to melt. Some restaurants are even offering free meals as a result of a partnership with Deep Eddy Vodka and other local companies.

As of Wednesday, Feb. 17, Deep Eddy Vodka along with Kendra Scott, Red Bull, Ranch Rider and others had committed to spending over $30,000 to support the community by purchasing meals from local restaurants. Some of the partnering restaurants are reflected in the list below.

And on Friday, Whole Foods said it was working with local restaurants to provide 20,000 meals to people in need. They've got an ongoing list of participating restaurants here.

Below is a list of restaurants in the Austin area that are offering free meals on Saturday, Feb. 20. Here is a list of places residents can find drinking water, many of them breweries or restaurants.

This list is developing and will be updated.
