A new aviation-themed brewery has debuted in the neighborhood. The fresh arrival to Plaza Midwood, called Pilot Brewing, is located at 1331 Central Ave.
The spot is the brainchild of married couple Jeff and Rachael Hudson, the brewery's website explains, and features small-batch experimental beers with a strong focus on sourcing local ingredients.
On tap at Pilot Brewing, expect to find a rotating selection of original brews representing both traditional and experimental styles. Beers, and a small selection of snacks, can be enjoyed indoors or on the dog-friendly patio.
So far, the brewery has earned one four-star review on Yelp.
On August 13, Kendal Ann M. said, "On tap: It looks like Pilot has loads of beers to offer ... Incredibly friendly and relaxed. I felt right at home the moment I entered Pilot."
Head on over to check it out: Pilot Brewing is open from 4–9 p.m. on Wednesday, 4–10 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, noon–10 p.m. on Saturday, and noon–8 p.m. on Sunday. (It's closed on Monday and Tuesday.)
