CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Food Lion is recalling two varieties of in-store prepared salad kits due to possible contamination.
The company says affected products could have been purchased from the deli department at all Food Lion locations between Dec. 26, 2021, through Jan. 10, 2022.
They would also have a sell-by date of Dec. 30, 2021, through Jan. 10, 2022.
Food Lion says people who bought the kits should not eat them and can return them to their local Food Lion store for a refund equal to double the purchase price in accordance with Food Lion's "Double Your Money Back Guarantee."
The company has more than 1,100 stores in 10 states across the U.S and is based out of Salisbury, North Carolina.
