Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police are investigating after a man was shot and killed in west Charlotte Monday night.
CMPD responded to a reported shooting in the 2400 block of Pruitt Street, near the Walmart on Wilkinson Boulevard around 8 p.m. When officers reached the scene, they found the victim, 20-year-old Juordan Malik Hill, suffering from a gunshot wound inside an apartment. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Neighbors told NBC Charlotte they heard around seven shots and a car speed off.
Police said the victim and several other witnesses were standing in a parking lot outside an apartment when someone started shooting.
