ROBESON COUNTY, N.C. — A North Carolina teen wanted after escaping court while appearing on two murder charges is back in custody, according to the State Department of Public Safety.

Earlier Wednesday night, a $1,500 reward was offered for information leading to his arrest.

The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office said 13-year-old, Jerico W. was in court for two counts of First-Degree Murder and Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon when he escaped.

The Division of Adult Correction and Juvenile Justice released a photo of him Tuesday because they said, "Division officials have a high degree of concern for the safety of both the juvenile and the public, due to a prior history of assaultive and unpredictable behavior."

According to WNCN, Jericho W. was arrested along with Derrick Deshawn Hunt, 19, in Rowland in connection with the deaths of two brothers, Frank and Adam Thomas, officials said.

The brothers were found dead inside a home on Marigold Lane on Oct 15.
