CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police have arrested and charged a man in connection to the murder of another man outside a popular bar in Ballantyne back in September.
On September 22, officers were called to a shooting near the Blue Olive Lounge on Conlan Circle. When police got to the scene, they found 44-year-old Jermaine Stuckey, who had been shot. Stuckey was pronounced dead at the scene.
On Monday, police charged 29-year-old Marquis Latoniel Smith with the murder of Stuckey.
Smith turned himself into police back on January 4th where he was processed at the intake center.
