ROCK HILL, S.C. — A hit-and-run accident sent a motorcycle rider to the hospital with serious injuries in Rock Hill on Friday night, police said.
Investigators said a truck hit a motorcycle around 9 p.m. at West Main Street and Woodward Road.
Police said the motorcycle and the rider were wedged against the truck and dragged a short distance before the rider got loose. The truck took off dragging the motorcycle several hundred feet before it came free, detectives said.
The rider was rushed to Piedmont Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
