MINT HILL, N.C. — Police in Mint Hill are investigating after a man was shot in the leg early Monday morning.
Detectives said the victim told officers at the scene that he was standing outside his home on Stoney Glen Drive around 4:30 when two men approached him. The victim said the suspects asked if he wanted to buy narcotics when they grabbed him by the arm. When he broke free and ran from the suspects, the victim said he heard a gunshot and realized he was shot in the leg.
The suspects were last seen leaving the area in a white sedan. Detectives have not released any further information and no arrests have been made.
