According to police, the driver in this incident, 22-year-old Christian Jabez Chandler was arrested and charged with felony hit-and-run Wednesday afternoon.

Detectives said the victim was walking on North Tryon Street, or the shoulder of North Tryon Street, walking southbound when he was hit by a black Nissan Altima. The victim was then thrown into the right lane of North Tryon before he was hit by two other vehicles. Speed and alcohol are not contributing factors for either of those drivers, according to CMPD.
