1 seriously injured in Rock Hill shooting, police say

The victim was rushed to a hospital after driving himself home following the shooting, police said.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — One person was seriously injured in a shooting in Rock Hill early Thursday morning, police said. 

Rock Hill Police were called to a home on Reynolds Street around 4 a.m. to help someone who had been shot. When officers got to the home, they found a 20-year-old man who had been shot in the abdomen. According to police, the victim said he was shot on Fairway Circle before getting in his car and driving home.

The victim, who hasn't been identified, was rushed to Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill with serious injuries. 

Investigators have not released any suspect information or determined a motive in the shooting. No arrests have been made.
