Two suspects in custody after armed robbery in Indian Trail

According to police, a suspect entered the store armed with a handgun and demanded a large quantity of iPhones.

UNION COUNTY, N.C. — Union County deputies said two suspects robbed the Verizon Wireless store in Indian Trail just after 1 p.m. on Sunday, October 28.

According to police, a suspect entered the store armed with a handgun and demanded a large quantity of iPhones.

Deputies chased the suspect vehicle into Midland in Cabarrus County, where they say two suspects abandoned the car at Hartsell Funeral Home.

Both suspects have since been found and are currently in custody.

Police have identified the two suspects arrested as David Webber Jr. and John Anthony Rowe.

Both men face a number of charges, including robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon.
