COLUMBUS, Ohio — With concerns over the coronavirus (COVID-19) causing an increase in stress and anxiety, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine announced that he has filed emergency rules for complete mental health telehealth coverage.
DeWine made the announcement during his daily press conference on Saturday, in which he revealed that the number of positive coronavirus cases in Ohio has doubled from 13 to 26.
In addition to Ohio's 26 positive cases, 264 cases remain under investigation. The age range of the positive cases is currently 31-86, with 14 males, 12 females, seven hospitalizations and zero deaths. DeWine acknowledged that he expects the number of positive cases to increase along with further testing.
