CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- One man has been arrested in connection to the murder of a 22-year-old off Clanton Road earlier this month.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police arrested Michael Patrick, 27, and charged him with second degree murder. He is currently in the custoday of the Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office.
CMPD was called to the 800 block of Clanton Road for an assault with a deadly weapon on October 20. Upon arrival, officers found 22-year-old Kareem McLeod suffering from a gunshot wound.
McLeod was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
