CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police are searching for a man who they say became separated from his family while driving Friday evening.
Jack Kinard, 64, was following his family on I-277 in Charlotte around 7:30 p.m. Friday night when he was separated from them.
Kinard is not familiar with the Charlotte area and does not have a phone with him.
Kinard was driving his daughter's 2016 blue Kia Rio with S.C. tag MRD-580. Kinard is also described as a black male 5 feet 10 inches tall weighing about 200 pounds with a bald head and brown eyes.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911 or Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
