The Junk Ranch
The Junk Ranch in Prarie Grove will be held Oct. 2-3 and will be packed with food trucks, live music and of course, junk. The Junk Ranch barn, festival tent and grounds will be filled with antiques, holiday decorations, handmade crafts, jewelry, furniture, home and body scents, plants and garden items, vintage clothing and more.
October's crisp autumn nights will bring plenty for stargazers to see in the sky, ranging from a meteor shower to great views of the planets, but the top astronomy event of the month will come on the month's final night.
This year, October begins and ends with a full moon! A harvest moon will light up the skies tonight and a rare blue moon is coming on Halloween.
