'Mothers of Murdered Offspring' holds vigil on Mother's Day

So far, there have been 50 homicides in Charlotte this year. That's on pace to break the city's record.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A special tribute was held in Charlotte for moms who have lost loved ones to homicide.

The group Mothers of Murdered Offspring held a vigil at Camp Greene Park Sunday for Mother's Day. 

One of the mothers honored lost her daughter 19-year-old Audeja Sutton to a deadly stabbing just a week ago in Charlotte.
