HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (WCNC) - A teacher at North Mecklenburg High School was arrested Monday afternoon and has been charged with engaging in sexual acts with a student, according to the Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office.
Brandon Jamelle Flowers is charged with three separate counts of committing a sexual act with a student and three counts of indecent liberties with a student.
Flowers has taught CTE Marketing at North Meck since 2015.
All six charges are felonies that could potentially carry jail sentences if found guilty.
According to officials, Flowers has been suspended without pay since Thursday.
